Booking Options

It is now possible to make a one off appointment on line by clicking on the patient access tab and following the instructions.

If you wish to register for the online booking facility, or wish to be shown how to use it, please ask at reception.

A form is available to complete from reception if you wish to use this service, proof of identity will be required.

You will need a PIN and a Password to ensure that all your details remain safe and secure. You will receive these via post after you have completed the online booking registration form.

Patients signing up to online access, need to produce appropriate I.D. at reception within 6 months of initial sign up, after which time patients will need to re register. 

Please note if you are homeless and do not have the necessary documentation please speak to a member of our team who will be happy to help you through the registration process.

Telephone Booking

We offer same day appointments or up to 2 weeks in advance.

Appointments can be booked by telephone on (0191) 5842106 lines open at 08:30 am  Monday to  Friday, for advance bookings please call between 10.00 am and 5:00pm.

We always try to minimise the waiting time for you and, whilst we try to see you at the appointed time, some patients’ appointments may take longer than the time allocated, so please be patient if there is some delay.

Walk-In Appointments

We can make appointments at the reception desk but it is not necessary for patients to queue outside.  If this is your only option please note that it is not guaranteed that you will get an appointment at that time and you may need to come back to the surgery at another time for you appointment.

Only patients with a medical emergency will be seen urgently with no appointment.
